Your training in Vidext
Where your courses live, what a module is, and how to get going.
Someone at your organization assigned you training in Vidext. This guide covers what you'll see and how to work through it. You don't need to set anything up.
Where your courses are
Everything assigned to you is on your learning home, under Your learning overview: how many courses you have, how many you've finished, and a Resume learning button that drops you back exactly where you stopped.
Courses reach you through the teams you belong to — you don't request them or enrol yourself. If the page says No courses yet, nothing has been assigned to you so far; it will appear here when it is.
Open a course to see its modules in a side panel, each marked Not started, a percentage with Resume learning, or Completed.
What a module is
A module is not a video you sit through. It's an ordered sequence of scenes, grouped into chapters, that plays with spoken narration while the content appears in step with it. Some scenes show a presenter on screen; some ask you a question before letting you continue.
You control the pace throughout — pause, go back, speed it up, turn on subtitles, or read the whole narration as text.
Two places you can ask questions
This trips people up, so it's worth being clear: there are two assistants, and they know different things.
