Use Vidext with your AI assistant

If you already work in an AI assistant, you can connect it to Vidext. Once connected, it can search your organization's sources and list your modules, as you, in one organization. It only reads: it cannot create, change or delete anything.

Admins and members can connect an assistant. Learners cannot: Vidext refuses their requests.

Settings → MCP shows the server address and step-by-step setup for Claude Code, Lovable, Cursor, Codex and Other clients. The address is the same for every assistant:

In Claude on the web or desktop, add it as a custom connector. In any other assistant that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth, add it as a new server.

The first time your assistant uses it, a browser window opens. Sign in to Vidext, choose the organization if you belong to more than one, and authorize access. The connection works only in that organization.

To check it works, ask your assistant: "List my Vidext modules."

Your assistant can search your organization's sources, read the passages it finds, and list the modules you can access:

• "What does our travel expense policy say about per diems?"
• "List my modules about GDPR."

Your assistant cannot plan, build, edit or publish courses. Do that in the Vidext app: courses are planned and built in the chat, with Vidext's agents.

DisconnectCopy Anchor Link

Remove the connector in your assistant's settings. Vidext has no control to disconnect an assistant from its side. Access also stops if you leave the organization or your role changes to one that cannot connect.
