Use Vidext with your AI assistant

If you already work in an AI assistant, you can bring Vidext to it. Connect once, and your assistant can create modules, check build status, and edit courses — as you, with your permissions, in your workspace.

Connect Claude

1. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
2. Name it Vidext Operator (or simply Vidext) and paste this URL:

3. Save. The first time you use it, a browser window asks you to sign in to Vidext and authorize the connection — if you belong to several organizations, you pick which one this connection is for.
4. In a new chat, enable the connector and try: "List my Vidext modules."

The connector syncs across Claude on web, desktop, and mobile.

Connect ChatGPT

In ChatGPT, add a connector from Settings → Connectors using the same URL, then authorize in the browser when prompted.

What you can do from your assistant

• "Create a module about our travel expense policy from the document I'll describe — for all employees."
• "What's the status of the onboarding course?"
• "In the GDPR module, replace the intro image and tighten the first chapter's narration."

Your assistant drives the same workflow you would in the app — direct internal planning/building for explicit creation requests, plan-only answers when requested, and editing — with the publication gate intact: it acts only within your role's permissions, in the one organization you authorized, and nothing publishes without your explicit action in the app.

Revoking access

Disconnect from your assistant's connector settings, or from Vidext's settings — either side kills the connection.
