Members, invites, and join requests
Getting people into your organization and giving them the right role.
People enter your organization three ways: you invite them, they request to join, or they join automatically via your verified email domain. All three end in the same place — a member with a role.
Inviting people
Invite by email — individually or as a bulk list when onboarding many people at once. Invitations carry the intended role, can be resent or cancelled while pending, and expire after seven days. Admins can invite people in any role; members can invite learners through your default team. The Members page has two views — a Members list and a Pending invitations tab — and join requests appear inside the Members list under the Access requests filter.
Join requests
People who sign up and ask to join your organization land as requesters — visible to admins, with no access until approved. Approving a request makes them a member and adds them to your default team (which immediately enrolls them in anything assigned to it). Denying removes the request.
Domain join
With a verified custom domain, you can allow anyone signing up with a matching email address to join automatically — the right setting for rolling Vidext out company-wide without sending hundreds of invites.
Changing roles and removing members
From Settings → Members, admins manage organization roles (admin, member, or learner) and can remove members. Team-level roles are managed per team by that team's admins. What each role can do: Roles and permissions.
Order matters
Organization membership comes first: someone must be an active member of the organization before they can be added to any team.
