Branding your modules
Extract your visual identity from your website so generated modules look like your company.
Generated learning should look like yours. Vidext builds a branding profile for your organization and uses it during builds, so modules come out on-brand by default instead of generically pretty.
Where branding comes from
Point Vidext at your company website. A background run crawls your public pages, identifies genuine brand evidence — imagery, visual style, the way your company presents itself — and produces:
- a branding profile: the canonical description of your visual identity — your colour palette and how your brand presents itself;
- art direction for generated images: guidance drawn from your site's real imagery, so the images Vidext generates follow your visual style rather than a generic look.
Runs are processed as snapshots and only promoted to "current" when they complete successfully — a failed crawl never corrupts the branding you already have.
How the builder uses it
When the builder needs a visual for a scene, it first reuses images you already have — pulled from your uploaded documents, your organization's media, and the sources Vidext gathered while researching — and generates the rest. Generated images follow the art direction from your branding profile, including a touch of your brand colour, and every image in a scene shares one visual treatment, so a module reads as coherent and unmistakably yours rather than a mix of unrelated pictures.
Keeping it fresh
Rebranded recently, or shipped a new site? Re-run the extraction from your organization settings — the new run replaces the canonical profile once it completes.
Public pages only
Brand extraction reads your public website. It does not need credentials and does not touch anything behind a login.
