Enrollments
How learners get access to learning — automatically, through teams and course assignments.
You never enroll learners one by one. Enrollment in Vidext is the automatic consequence of two things you already manage: who is on a team and which courses that team is assigned.
How enrollment happens
Assign a course to a team
When a course is assigned to a team, every current member of that team is enrolled in the course's modules. Each enrolled learner is notified by email.
New members are caught up automatically
When someone joins a team later, they are automatically enrolled in the courses already assigned to that team. Onboarding a new hire is: add them to the right team. Done.
What an enrollment tracks
An enrollment is one learner's relationship to one module. It carries a status across the learner lifecycle — from pending to active to completed (with suspended/expired/withdrawn states for administrative control) — and anchors that learner's progress: sessions, scene completion, and quiz results.
Practical implications
- Model teams around audiences, not org charts. If "EU retail staff" need different training than "US retail staff", make them different teams.
- One learner, many teams. People can belong to several teams and accumulate the union of their assignments.
- Removing access works the same way in reverse: unassign the course or change team membership.
